Law
On certain conditions pests can turn up in every space and at every time of year Their presence in production plants lead to contamination of product,
which can cause suspicion that producer did not fulfil hygienic requirements.
According to current legislation every company operating on food market is responsible for safety of produced and sold food.
Certain procedures concerning pests prevention and control should be drawn up in order to avoid threats caused by presence of pests in production plants.
These procedures,
being part of GHP and GMP should be prepared before implementation of HACCP system.
That is why they are often called introductory procedures for HACCP system.

Phases of pest control system implementation
Implementation of the system consists of three main phases:

Preliminary audit – service free of charge.
It is done to determine the level of hygiene,
risk of pests appearance,
level of their activity,
assessment type and number of equipment necessary to protect the plant.
The audits are carried out by qualified inspectors.
Results of the audit are described in a special report.

Securing of the plant – elimination of maximum number of pests within the plant; installation of appropriate equipment in order to restrict rodents access into the plant.

Service – regular inspections in accordance witch schedule attached to documentation.
These actions guarantee consistent and effective pest control within every plant.
All inspections are described in reports and system documentation.
Documentation
All our actions are precisely described in system documentation created individually for every customer in accordance with HACCP system requirements.
Full documentation of our actions consists of:

schedule of operations – determines a yearly schedule of inspections,

procedure of securing the plant from pests – describes all pest control actions within the plant,

description,
register and operating manuals for pest control equipment,

register of substances used and all required permits and certificates,
-
monitoring lists of rodents activity,
-
corrective actions register – actions to be done in order to provide proper insect- and rat-tightness in protected areas,

plan of the plant marked equipment.
