     PestWest Quantum BL UV tubes, that attract flying insects, are most efficient phosphoric tubes in the world. These are produced by Sylvania company solely for PestWest use. According to test results the tubes are 100% more effective and 40% more efficient than standard UV tubes by Sylvania and any other tubes available on the market. These are shatterproof tubes – coated with unique Dupont® teflon, which prevents broken glass from contaminating the food products in case of mechanical damage to the tube.
      The tubes should be exchanged once a year because their efficiency decreases over time. The best time for the exchange is spring (turn of March and April) because their highest efficiency overlaps with the period of highest flying insects activity.
